Cairo is considered the biggest city in Africa and in the Arab world by area which equals 3,084,676 square km.
188,982 square km of Cairo's area is populated on the banks of the Nile River.
Cairo was the capital of the great Egyptian dynasties in middle ages, in our present time it's the capital of Egypt.
Cairo is a city full of life as it has the highest density of population per square kilometer in the world.

Commander Jawher al-sakli bulit Cairo to be a capital of the Fatimid state in 969 by order of the Fatimid Caliph Al-Muizz and it was named Mansoura back then.
When Al-Muizz came to Egypt and see the city he named it Cairo after the glorious planet Mars.
The ancient travelers also named Cairo the city of thousand minarets as it contains lots of mosques until now, they also named Cairo Al-muizz's Cairo.

Egypt is known of having lots of talents (Musical / Dramatic) and considered the site of renaissance in the Arab theater.
Most of the Arabic films are produced in Egypt / Cairo by Egyptian companies as lots of movie stars and musicians are based in Egypt.
Television and radio are broadcast around the world, Cairo also have lots of known newspapers like al-Ahram which was founded in 1875 the most famous newspaper in Egypt.
